A custom Shopify Resource Center designed to organize RICH SOLAR’s video tutorials, product manuals, technical specifications, and educational articles in one searchable, easy-to-navigate resource hub.
Project Overview
I developed a custom Shopify Resource Center that helps customers quickly find product-related resources without manually browsing through individual product pages. Using Shopify product metafields, metaobjects, collections, and navigation menus, I built a dynamic system that displays relevant products based on their available resources.
I also implemented custom JavaScript functionality, filtering options, and a dedicated search bar designed specifically for the Learning Center’s content.

Dynamic Resource Display
Created custom logic to check product collections and display only products that have the relevant tutorials, manuals, or technical specifications assigned through Shopify metafields and metaobjects.
Automated Product Listing
Integrated Shopify navigation menus and collections to dynamically populate eligible products, reducing the need to manually add and maintain individual product listings.
Custom Resource Filters
Implemented filtering functionality to help customers narrow down resources and find relevant product information more efficiently.
Dedicated Search Functionality
Developed a custom JavaScript-powered search feature specifically for the Learning Center. Unlike Shopify’s standard search bar, it searches within the Learning Center’s own resource content.
Centralized Download Center
Combined video tutorials, manuals, technical specifications, and educational articles in one accessible location to support customers throughout product setup and use.
Result
The finished Learning Center provides a centralized, searchable destination for RICH SOLAR’s product resources. Its dynamic content system reduces manual listing work, while custom filtering and search functionality make it easier for customers to discover relevant documentation and learning materials.
